Anointing the Sick

The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick gives strength and support and can be administered to anyone struggling with illness whether it is physical, mental or spiritual. The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is for the living and can be given when needed.

If you are requesting Viaticum - a term used in the Catholic Church for the Eucharist (also called Holy Communion) administered, with or without Anointing of the Sick (also called Extreme Unction), to a person who is dying, and is thus a part of the Last Rites; please inform the parish office so the priest may be aware.
